Meyer joined News 4 in July of 2000 and since then she has been anchoring the News 4 Morning Show and filing special reports for the 10 p.m. news. Before coming to KFOR-TV, she worked as a general assignment reporter at WTVH in Syracuse, New York.
After months spent investigating the devastating impact of the Moore tornado, journalist Meyer has been recognized for excellence in journalism for their in-depth reporting. Additionally, she won an Edward R. Murrow Award for documenting the incredible survival story of Edith Morales.
Meyer’s work has been recognized on a local, regional, and national level, earning her four regional Emmy Awards for her investigative and long-form reporting work, a National News Emmy Award for her coverage of the 2013 Moore Tornado, and four national Gracie Awards for her reports on issues affecting women. Her hard work and dedication have been further recognized through her nomination for the prestigious regional Emmy Award more than a dozen times.
