Moreschi is proud of a law passed in Indiana called “Anthony’s Law” that directly resulted from her reporting on the foster system in that state. Anthony’s Law now requires background checks for all foster parents, something that was not in place when Moreschi began digging into the system and its problems.
Additionally, Moreschi did anchoring and reporting for Bay News 9 in Tampa, while also working at a law firm specializing in whistleblower cases before returning to Pittsburgh. At the firm, she worked side-by-side with former prosecutors and FBI agents to expose fraud against the government. Their cases are credited with returning tens of millions of dollars to taxpayers.
