He has been a part of important updates to KPLC’s weather technology over the years, including the most recent WSI weather system and the addition of the Skycam network. This has kept Southwest Louisiana up to current with the most up-to-date technology of storm tracking and forecasting.

Terry is an active, member of the National Weather Association(NWA) and the American Meteorological Society(AMS). He is currently the former president of the Southeast Texas/Southwest Louisiana Chapter of the two organizations. Terry lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana, therefore, he looks forward to attending all annual meetings of the National Weather Association.
When he is not anchoring, he volunteers for a variety of charitable organizations in Southwest Louisiana. The organizations include; the American Cancer Society, the Ad and Press Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Mississippi/Louisiana Chapter of the Colitis and Crohn’s Foundation, establishing a local support group for persons suffering from the diseases.
