Mellon was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA, and is thrilled to return to her home state. She attended and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she reported for the school’s athletic show Gaucho Vision.
While in Santa Barbara, she served as an intern at KEYT News Channel 3 and landed a job at the station before graduation. From the Central Coast, she relocated to Amarillo, Texas where she held the title of sports director for KFDA News Channel 10.
In addition, she covered West Texas high school football for two years prior to her next adventure across the country. Bri most recently worked in Omaha, Nebraska at WOWT News 6 as a sports anchor and reporter. Furthermore, Mellon covered two College World Series, Creighton athletics, and Nebraska athletics during her time. She followed the Husker’s first season under new Head Coach Scott Frost and Clovis West native Adrian Martinez.
Mellon played sports growing up, but soccer was her first love of playing competitively for over a decade. She loves the beach, traveling, and working out.
