This was a return to 6abc for Chris, as he originally worked as a weather producer beginning in October 2000. He left Philadelphia to begin his on-air career as Chief Meteorologist for WNKY in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2005. From there, Sowers made a stop in the “Windy City” of Chicago where he was the weekend meteorologist.
