Born in Hamlin, Texas, Clemente is no stranger to the Big Country. He has lived in Abilene for the majority of his life. He is a graduate of Cooper High School and he attended Hardin-Simmons University. Clemente actually stumbled into the news business in the Fall of 1985. Clemente was working part-time at KRBC answering the phone in the evenings while going to college.
He was a Nursing Major but his love and passion for the tv industry grew as he eventually worked his way into the newsroom and worked in various areas in the department. He has worked in tv in various areas that include, News Photographer, News Reporter, News Assignment Editor, Commercial Production Videographer, and his current love and passion, working in weather as the Abilene Today Meteorologist/Anchor.
Clemente is married to his wife Theresa and has a daughter Marisol. He also loves animals including his Rat Terrier named Diva, his Sheltie named Jazmyn, and his Pug named Keely.
When not on the screens, Clemente can often be found on the highways and byways of the Big Country on his road bike. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys going great distances on his adventures.
