During this period, Campbell had the opportunity to report on a wide range of events, from the 2021 February freeze to the predictably active severe weather seasons.
On a weekly basis, Campbell hosted a segment titled “Mastering your garden” and made valuable contributions to the weather team’s quarterly severe weather specials. Campbell’s meteorological career started in 2018 at WDTV (CBS) in Bridgeport, WV. Initially hired as a weekend meteorologist, she was later promoted to the position of Chief Forecaster. During her time in West Virginia, Campbell began a notable tradition, organizing the first and only station toy drive in the region. This heartwarming initiative involved delivering gifts to children under hospital care at WVU Medicine Children’s during the holiday season, and it enjoyed three successful years.
Campbell is deeply dedicated to contributing her time and energy to volunteer efforts aimed at supporting the all abilities/special needs community.
