Devin Scillian is a skilled American journalist who is currently working for WDIV-TV, the NBC affiliate in Detroit as an Anchor/Reporter, a musician and, children’s author He joined the team in 1995 and afterward became a leading news anchor in 1996. In addition, he has more than fifteen books to his name including the national bestseller A Is For America (2001), Fibblestax (2000), and Memoirs of a Goldfish (2010).

Scillian started his journey in television at WIBW-TV in Topeka, Kansas, while studying at the University of Kansas. After graduating from William Allen White School of Journalism in Kansas in 1985, he worked for WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois until 1986. He then took the job of main anchor at KLTV in Tyler, Texas for the next three years, before moving to Oklahoma City in 1989 to join KFOR. In 1995, Scillian switched gears and became a reporter for WDIV, and then in 1996, took on the role of an anchor.

Scillian has made her mark on the entertainment industry, with appearances as a television journalist in popular films such as Scream 4, The Double, and Mooz-lum, as well as a recurring role on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a news anchor in a humorous “Breaking News” skit.
