In 2003, she joined CNN and HLN, as an anchor and technology correspondent. In 2005, she was named co-anchor of Prime News, as part of the network’s launch of Headline Prime. She also anchored nightly news updates for CNN’s primetime shows, including Anderson Cooper 360° (AC360°) during that time. In early 2008, she moved to AC360 full-time.
It was announced that Hill was going to rejoin CNN and would work as the anchor for a news program at HLN on June 6, 2016. She returned with a new program entitled “On the Story with Hill.” The program was premiered in October 2016.
Hill started her broadcasting career as a production assistant at the former cable network ZDTV / TechTV, and quickly worked her way up to producer, prior to becoming an anchor and reporter for the network.
