She was born and raised in Kansas City, MO but her family has originated in Bartow, FL, and the surrounding Polk County area, Eley can’t hide her joy to call the Sunshine State home. So, she is no stranger to Central Florida.
Most recently, she served as a sports reporter and digital producer for WDAF in Kansas City, covering the Chiefs, Royals, Sporting KC, and KC NWSL. During her tenure in Kansas City, she received awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters as part of George Floyd’s protest team coverage in Kansas City and her contribution to a special on the 100th anniversary of the Negro Leagues.
Before coming to Kansas City, she worked as a sports anchor in Augusta, GA where she won a Georgia Association of Broadcasters award for best sports anchor in 2019. She landed her first on-air job in Greenville, MS where she anchored sports.
