He also traveled the country following national news stories, including weeks on the road covering the historic 2008 presidential election. Brown was also there live at Kennedy Space Center reporting on the final launch of NASA’s space shuttle program. Prior to joining The Eyewitness News Team, he worked as the Washington-based correspondent for CBS NewsPath, the network’s affiliate service.
In addition, he also worked for 3 years in South Florida, as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WSVN, Miami’s innovative Fox affiliate. His “break-out” story came in 2005, covering the minute-by-minute details of the Terri Schiavo “right to die” case.
