Jon Wilson Career
Jon Wilson is an American meteorologist. He joins Fort Wayne’s NBC team from the Black Hills of South Dakota. Mr. Wilson spent just over two years in Rapid City as a meteorologist for KEVN-TV before coming to Fort Wayne in July of 2018. He also spent a summer volunteering at the Chicago National Weather Service Office.
Personal Life
Outside of work, Jon enjoys being outside and doing things like hiking, fishing, and playing tennis and basketball. He is also a huge Indianapolis Colts and Purdue Boilermakers fan.
Jon Wilson Education
Wilson went to college at Purdue University. While at Purdue, Jon double-majored in Meteorology and Communication. While in college, he interned at WGN-TV in Chicago under his childhood idol, Tom Skilling.

Coming to northeast Indiana is a bit of a homecoming for Jon, as he grew up in Rensselaer, Indiana.
