Arpesella is an award-winning actor and director best known for his role as Alvaro in the historical short drama film Into the Silent Sea, for which he received a Distinctive Achievement Award. Most recently, he provided extra voices for the upcoming animated film 6 Underground. He portrayed the Grand Hotel in his Oscar-winning film “Amarcord.” Oscar was a dear family friend, always welcomed at the hotel, as if his home, when in his native town. After his father’s early death he worked as an investment banker in New York. Later, he went to therapy and became an actor and writer. Arpesella currently lives in Los Angeles.

The film trailer follows a young woman, Julie, with a plan who takes a trip to romantic Verona, Italy with her lover. Unfortunately, the vacation with her boyfriend quickly turns into a nightmare after he breaks up with her. After the breakup, she finds that the villa she reserved was double-booked, and she will have to share her vacation with a cynical and handsome British man, Charlie. With no alternative, the two strangers are forced to spend their holiday together. Julie and Charlie do their best to make each other miserable so the other will leave but instead end up falling for each other.
The production for Love in the Villa started in September 2021 in the beautiful city of Verona, Italy according to a Netflix update. Filming will take place in Verona, as well as other locations nearby and it officially got underway on September 24th.
