Jagannathan initiated, produced, and acted in the play “Nirbhaya,” written and directed by Yaël Farber. The play dealt with breaking the silences around sexual violence, including her own. “Nirbhaya” won the prestigious 2013 Amnesty International Award and was called by The Telegraph “One of the most powerful pieces of theater you’ll ever see”. It is considered one of the most impactful moments in India’s history of women’s empowerment.

However, from the new teaser photos, it looks like a new face will be joining the cast for this season. Per Collider Anirudh Pisharody will play Des, a private school student.
