In the summer of 2020, Lilly led a newscast that earned an Emmy nomination for its live reporting from the scene of a bus that had been set on fire during demonstrations. Before her time in Richmond, she worked for WGXA News in Macon, Georgia, and received the GABBY Award for Best Feature Story in 2018. Before that, she interned at Country Music Television in Nashville, Tennessee. Outside of her reporting work, Lilly enjoys singing and spending time with her 100-pound Great Pyrenees.
