Ty was born and raised in the ski town of Park City, Utah, and attended the University of Utah where he graduated with degrees in Mass Communication and Spanish.
Before, coming to FOX 10, he worked in Idaho and most recently in Denver, Colorado where he reported on the most devastating wildfires in state history. When he is not anchoring or reporting, Ty enjoys running, traveling, hanging out with his dog, Hank, and putting his pilot’s license to good use over the skies of Arizona.
He also reported for KTVB TV located in Boise, Idaho. He worked at KTVB from Mar 2010 to Mar 2012. Before joining KTVB, he served as a reporter for KPVI in Idaho Falls. On joining KPVI in Apr 2008, Brennan served as a general assignment reporter, fill-in-anchor, and fill-in-weather anchor.
In addition, he served as an associate producer at KTXV / KUCW from August 2007 to Apr 2008. He was charged with assisting producers to compose and task the newscasts in the morning.
