Her powerful reporting has changed laws, sent people to jail, and helped transform agencies and entire governments.
Most recently, she has acted as an investigative reporter and anchor at WPXI-TV, the NBC affiliate located in her hometown of Pittsburgh. Through her dedication, Moreschi led to a change in 2022, prompting the start of a new law that compelled the Pennsylvania Turnpike to inform E-ZPass customers about concealed $10 penalty charges that her investigations unveiled. Esteemed lawmakers accepted this accomplishment as a triumph for both consumers and government transparency.
During her time at WTHR in Indianapolis, her reporting on the plight of children in foster care brought about significant change. Her exposés led to the establishment of a new law in Indiana, mandating background checks for all prospective foster parents.
