Mount marked his debut in feature films in 2000 with the role of Tully Coats in the independent film Tully. Taking on a dual role as producer and lead actor, he contributed to the independent film Cook County in 2009, garnering recognition and awards at prominent film festivals such as Hollywood, AFI Dallas, Nashville, and SXSW.
