the Philadelphia area for days. Boyer was fascinated by the power of the blizzard and how it had the ability to significantly impact the Delaware Valley. As she got older, she continued her fascination with weather, but her focus shifted to the science behind it. As a meteorologist, Boyer is trained in the science behind weather forecasting and effectively explains this to people.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Mississippi State University as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Penn State University in Broadcast Journalism.
