Ewing’s career started when she worked for the radio as a news reporter. She covered Western New York and Southern Ontario. She later moved to the Afternoon drive and served as the news reporter. Her motto is ‘Expect nothing appreciate everything’ and this motto has seen her win several awards for her excellent broadcasting career.
She has done stories that have hit headlines majorly some of them being one that brought to light a female limbo performer who went ahead to win the Guinness Record. That story made the girl’s dream come true. She also pushed for tougher penalties for repeat child abusers when she did a story on a family with the issue. There’s now a law Jay J’s law named after an abused child when she followed the case to Albany.
