Stevens began his career in 1987 by starting in the mailroom at NBC NEWS in Washington. By the time of the 1988 election night, while still in college as a sophomore. He contributed to well-known programs like “NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw,” “Today,” and “Meet the Press” in the capacity of a production assistant.
