He started his career at WHSV TV3 Winchester in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia as the Chief Meteorologist. It was there that he received the prestigious AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorology seal. Shortly after, he landed a job at WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. Tuma has covered all different types of weather events while working in the Mid-Atlantic.
