Foreman became the Sports Director at KSBY in January 2023. During his time at Pacific Lutheran, he developed a strong interest in sports broadcasting, majoring in journalism and actively participating in calling games for the athletic department and various student media outlets. After completing his degree, Foreman gained professional experience through internships at ROOT Sports Northwest and the Seattle Mariners. He also pursued his passion for coaching basketball, spending three years honing his skills before landing his first sports reporting job at KSBY’s sister station, KRTV, in Great Falls, Montana.
During his time in Great Falls and Bozeman, where he worked for over a year and a half, Foreman covered a wide range of sports, from small-town 6-man football to bare-knuckle boxing and rodeos. He is now excited to bring his distinctive storytelling abilities to the California Central Coast, building on the remarkable experiences he has had in his career.
One of Foreman’s most cherished memories in sports journalism was covering the 75th Annual East-West Shrine football game in Great Falls. He spent the week leading up to the game telling stories about the players and coaches, and he had the opportunity to provide play-by-play commentary for the statewide broadcast, which helped raise funds for the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington.
Outside of his professional life, Foreman is passionate about basketball and enjoys playing pick-up games. He also takes advantage of the Central Coast’s warmer and more stable climate to play as much golf as possible. Additionally, he spends quality time with his beloved pet, Viggo, who is known for being an exceptional ball retriever. Foreman is always on the lookout for a great karaoke spot to showcase his singing talents.
