In addition, before joining WCBS-TV in 2000, she worked as a weekend anchor at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wis. Furthermore, she also worked as a news cut-in anchor and assistant producer at WISN-TV in Milwaukee.
She attended and graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a BA in broadcast journalism. She is a New York Emmy and Midwest Emmy Award winner. Sanchez has been awarded CINE Golden Eagle awards and recognition from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, among others.
