After graduating from Union County High School, Jamee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies from the University of Kentucky in December 2021. Jamee’s broadcast career began at the UK Student News Network, where she reported, produced, anchored, and covered weather and sports. She also worked on a sunrise news segment on the UK’s campus radio station, WRFL 88.1 FM Lexington.
In the summer of 2021, Ffrench interned for 14 News, shadowing the staff and building her journalism portfolio. Interestingly, Jamee previously lived in Los Angeles, California, and worked in the child acting industry with Disney and Nickelodeon. She is excited to be back on TV screens!
When she’s not working, she enjoys participating in beauty pageants and spending time on her family farm with her sheep, goats, and peacocks. She’s thrilled to be back home and sharing stories about the area where she grew up. Jamee is eager to serve the Tri-State area in any way she can.
