Hubbard returned to FOX31 in 2011 and has visited and reported from more than 50 countries all over the world. In 2021, he covered Russia and Ukraine. In 2020, he traveled to Kosovo to profile Colorado National Guard troops deployed there. He’s also traveled to Afghanistan to profile Colorado Air Force reservists, returned to the battlefields of Vietnam with local veterans, and traveled with World War II heroes to Normandy, Pearl Harbor, and the Pacific Islands. His reporting for FOX31 has also taken him to North Korea, Japan, China, Indonesia, Bosnia, Israel, and the West Bank.

This is Hubbard’s second term at FOX31 Denver. Previously, he worked here from 2004-2007 as the weekend anchor. In 2007, he left for ABC News, where he worked as a New York-based anchor and correspondent. He was co-anchor of ABC’s national early-morning newscasts, “World News Now” and “America This Morning,” and reported for “Good Morning America,” “World News with Diane Sawyer” and “Nightline,” traveling across the country and overseas to cover breaking news, severe weather, the economy and politics for the network.

He began his career at KWCH in Wichita, KS, where he attended college at Wichita State University. In 2012, he and his wife started the Jeremy Hubbard and Taunia Hottman Scholarship in Communication at WSU, to help aspiring journalists pay for their education. He also worked as a reporter and anchor at KMBC-TV in Kansas City from 1998 to 2004. Hubbard is married with two kids and lives in Denver. He loves to spend his free time traveling.
