Scott serves as the Weekday Evening Anchor at WFXG FOX54, returning to the station in July 2022 and making her comeback to Augusta. She has a longstanding history with FOX54 News at 10, having been one of its original anchors when it was launched almost two decades ago. Before rejoining WFXG, Scott worked in the Upstate region, specifically at WSPA 7 News in the Greenville-Spartanburg area, where she anchored the 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm newscasts.
Before her time in the Upstate, she had a significant tenure in Augusta at WJBF News Channel 6. There, she co-anchored the 5:30 p.m. newscast on WJBF and the 10 p.m. on MeTV. Scott’s journey to Augusta took her through Atlanta, where she DJed at radio station WTJH and co-hosted a teen talk show called “The Cutting Edge” on Atlanta’s cable access channel, working alongside a team of producers. Following this, she secured a position in Georgia-Pacific’s Corporate Communications Division and later transitioned to Cox Enterprises in their Broadcast Division.
During her time in Atlanta, she mentored youth in her community and collaborated with civic organizations. In the Upstate region, Scott maintained a strong connection to the community, serving on the Hospice Division Board of Spartanburg Regional Hospital and the Cancer Association of Spartanburg & Cherokee Counties, Inc.

While in Augusta, she was involved with the NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists) and held leadership roles, including President of the Board of Directors for Augusta’s Historic Imperial Theatre and Secretary for the Augusta Ballet Board of Directors. Additionally, she was a member of the Board of Directors for Good Neighbor Ministries, an extension of St. Luke United Methodist Church in the Harrisburg Community.
