She began her career as a volunteer reporter for Rogers Television Peel in Mississauga. In 2008, she took her first job in the field at CFJC News in Kamloops, British Columbia, where she worked as a video journalist, shooting, writing, and editing her own stories. For her story “Remembering Afghanistan,” Priya won a prestigious RTDNA award. From there, she moved to Windsor, working for CTV Windsor, and then received a promotion to London, Ontario, and then CTV Kitchener.
In 2013, Mann joined WDIV-Local 4 in Detroit, Michigan as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Priya’s parents and brother reside in North Carolina, while she has a plethora of family members in Chicago.
