Ridge got a head start on her voice-over artist career at the voiceover agency Hobson’s International, between the 1990s and 2000s along with Ciara Janson, Louise Michelle, Tom Attenborough, and Will Attenborough. Following her graduation in 2006, she became a trainee reporter at the now defunct tabloid newspaper News of the World. After completing her training programs in 2009, Ridge served as a consumer affairs correspondent. Later, she gained a job as a political correspondent on Sky News in 2011.

Ridge was based in Colorado for the Sky News coverage of the US elections and was recognized for her round-the-clock broadcasting at the annual party conferences.
