Since the age of five, Gentry dreamed of becoming an actress. She made her theatrical debut by acting in plays her mother had written at their local theater. Throughout her acting career, Gentry has had numerous minor roles, including two shorts in 2015. In 2018, she portrayed the role of Jasmine in the romantic comedy feature film Candy Jar and featured in a single episode of the superhero television series, Raising Dion.
