Gorham acting began as an intern on Baywatch (1989). Gorham’s career includes a range of science-fiction TV series, such as his prominent roles in Odyssey 5 and Jake 2.0. He also made appearances in Party of Five, Felicity, and Without a Trace, and ventured into films, notably starring alongside Anne Hathaway in 2001’s The Other Side of Heaven. Gorham took on the roles of Harrison John in the WB series Popular and Dr. Miles McCabe in the NBC drama Medical Investigation. He led the short-lived CBS series Out of Practice and was the main character in ABC Family’s original movie Relative Chaos.

Gorham assumed the recurring role of Henry Grubstick in Silvio Horta’s Ugly Betty, eventually becoming a full-time cast member. His portrayal earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. He participated in the 2009 CBS TV miniseries Harper’s Island and also played Bobby on Two Broke Girls. From 2010 to 2014, Gorham portrayed blind special ops agent Auggie Anderson on the successful USA Network series Covert Affairs. His character guided Piper Perabo’s trainee CIA agent through her new role. Despite its success, the series was canceled in January 2015. Gorham ranked fifth on BuddyTV’s “TV’s Sexiest Men of 2011” list.
