She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Journalism at Canisius University in Buffalo, New York, graduating in 2023. During her time at Canisius University, she was honored with the Buffalo News Scholarship by the communications department. Howard also gained valuable experience through a three-month internship with Channel 2 news WGRZ in Buffalo, NY, where she learned firsthand the skills of writing, editing, and shooting stories.
While her primary passion lies in journalism, Howard also possesses a background in the medical field, holding an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting from Bryant and Stratton College in Buffalo, N.Y. Howard was raised in the hometown of the Buffalo Bills and graduated from Math Science and Technology High School in 2015. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, writing poetry, and cherishing the role of being a mother to her eight-year-old daughter. Howard expresses gratitude for the opportunity to embark on her journalism career as a multimedia journalist with K8 News in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
