Joining the News10NBC First Alert Weather Team has been a rewarding experience for Johnson, and he is pleased to note that this latest adventure allows him to remain in Rochester.
As a member of the American Meteorological Society, Johnson has earned their Seal of Approval for television weathercasting. Additionally, he has contributed weather columns to the Democrat and Chronicle newspaper and served as an adjunct instructor teaching Weather and Climate at Monroe Community College. In 2005, Johnson was honored with the SUNY Brockport Award for Community Service. During his leisure time, he indulges in a love for all sports and proudly identifies as a devoted New York Yankees baseball fan.
